Instructions For Dance- Tone Up Your Body
Are you bored by the usual routine? Have you had enough of getting those tight-fitting clothes and those smelly sneakers into a bag and heading off down to the gym? Then what about learning how to dance as an alternative? Dancing can really get your heart pumping! Find some instructions for dance and just move.
When you learn to dance you have variety. You no longer need to do the same repetitive movements over and over again. Your pulse quickens and your heart beat pumps along with the beat of the music as you are engerised and incentivised!
You can learn to dance at home with a dvd or at your local town hall or gym. You don't have to be stuck in the same room on a piece of equipment like an exercise bike or rowing machine week after week. The dancing activity alone stimulates both your mind and body. You don't need to be plugged into headphones for example. It also allows you to experience new types of tunes. My friend had no idea how great some types of music are until she went to her local evening instructions for dance classes!
What type of person are you? Do you think you are young, energetic and outgoing? Or are you the more slow type who likes to take things more slowly, but still has fun while doing it? Well, don't worry about what type of person you are, there is a dance type out there for you. There are extremely fast breakdance schools, or salsa and samba, or for the more sedate person, there is ballroom dancing and tea dances. If you prefer to be taught one to one, then there are lessons available for you. You may want to learn something proficiently and be extremely good. Or you may just want to go out for a bit of high energy fun. All types of dances are available.
A huge advantage to learning to dance as a form of exercise is that there is no need to change into tight fitting lycra and spandex multi-colored clothes. Or, if you don't do lycra, then even the big baggy t-shirts and leggings are not necessary. When you are learning to dance, you can wear your normal everyday clothes or you can dress right up and look as glamorous as you want.
One piece of good advice is not to splurge on expensive clothes or equipment which you will not use. For example, don't buy expensive tap dancing shoes or all the clothes for Turkish belly dancing and then go to one lesson and find that you hate it.
With the vast variety of how-to DVDs and vidoes that demonstrate basic instructions for dance steps for almost any popular dance you can think of, you can easily get started by learning how to dance at home. The only perequisites are good dance music and, if you can, a friend or family member who is willing to learn along with you. Even if you only dance with your shadow, you'll have plenty of fun doing it!
